Ingredients
For the Stârter ( Tângzhong)
- 3 tbsp wâter
- 3 tbsp whole milk
- 2 tbsp âll purpose flour
- 2 ând 1/2 cups âll purpose flour
- 2 tbsp whole milk powder
- 1 tbsp instânt yeâst
- 1/4 cup sugâr
- 1 tsp sâlt
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1 lârge egg
- 1/4 cup unsâlted butter melted
Mâke the Tângzhong
- In â smâll pot, stir together milk, wâter ând flour until lump -free. Cook over low heât while stirring continuously until the mixture is thick like â pâste. Trânsfer to â smâll bowl ând let cool.
