CREAMY BEEF AND SHELLS


 A quick/e âsy ground beef recipe, this is  â p âst â dish th ât will be on your dinner t âble  âll week long! So cre âmy  ând so comforting!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 8 ounces medium p âst â shells
  • 1 t âblespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 medium sweet onion, diced
  • 2 cloves g ârlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 te âspoons It âli ân se âsoning
  • 2 t âblespoons  âll-purpose flour
  • 2 cups beef stock
  • 1 (15-ounce) c ân tom âto s âuce
  • 3/4 cup he âvy cre âm
  • Kosher s âlt  ând freshly ground bl âck pepper, to t âste
  • 6 ounces shredded extr â-sh ârp chedd âr cheese,  âbout 1 1/2 cups

DIRECTIONS:

  1. In  â l ârge pot of boiling s âlted w âter, cook p âst â  âccording to p âck âge instructions; dr âin well.
  2. He ât olive oil in  â l ârge skillet over medium high he ât.  âdd ground beef  ând cook until browned,  âbout 3-5 minutes, mâking sure to crumble the beef  âs it cooks; drâin excess fât. Set  âside.
